Since our start, Windborne has been an independent, people-powered band, relying on the grassroots support of our fans, friends, and community, rather than a record label. None of us set out to become a full-time vocal group, but people kept coming to us and saying, "Thank you for your work, this music is what we need right now." It was this incredible support in 2017 that allowed us to "answer that calling" and make the leap to spreading our music and message as our full-time living. It is the generosity and gratitude of this community that keeps us going on the road, through good times and hard times. As we say in every concert, it's person-to-person connections that fuel our work; from organizing and hosting concerts, to putting us up in your homes, to helping share our art with your friends and communities.
